Our story
Built by people who would rather sand a tabletop than send an email.
Grain & Grove began as a side conversation in a barn-turned-workshop in Vermont. Three friends — a bowl-turner, a furniture maker, and a sculptor — were watching cheap factory wood items show up at every mall and every big-box store, and feeling like the craft they loved was disappearing into the background.
So we built a small marketplace, on our own terms. Every artisan is real, with a name and a story. Every piece is photographed in natural light. Every dollar above our running costs goes back to the makers.
We don't run sales. We don't push notifications. We don't sell ads. We just sell objects that are made well, by people you can know, and we hope you'll keep yours for a long, long time.
